Brussels Airlines has taken a decisive step forward in modernizing its short and medium-haul operations, announcing the acquisition of five additional Airbus A320neos . Deliveries will commence in 2027, and the airline now has eight A320neos on order. With five examples already in the fleet, this will bring Brussels' total A320neo fleet count to 13.

The announcement comes as Brussels Airlines expects to take delivery of three more A320neos from November to December 2025. With these new aircraft, Brussels Airlines will be able to phase out older, less efficient aircraft and also upgauge throughout its network. With this acquisition, the Brussels Airlines fleet will soon become more modern in the skies and on the spreadsheets.
