Chagrin Valley Little Theatre will begin its 96th consecutive season with the annual “Murder by the Falls” event on Sept. 5 and Sept. 6, with an 1980s themed show titled, “Like, Totally Murder.”

The night begins with a preshow reception at 6 p.m. and a wine/beer cash bar in the theater’s lobby. Act I begins at 7, where the story, suspects and crime are revealed. At intermission, audience members leave the theater and search for clues. A catered dessert buffet with complimentary coffee and wine follows, where audience members attempt to solve the murder. The evening continues back at the theater where Act II reveals the killer’s identity and prizes, including CVLT six-show season tickets, are awarded.
