BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Two Alabama natives will be appearing in a major dramatic feature film hitting theaters next week.

Andre Holland, an actor from Bessemer known for his roles in "The Knick" and "Moonlight," and Roy Wood Jr., a Birmingham standup comic who has appeared in "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" and hosts the American version of "Have I Got News for You" on CNN, both star in "Love Brooklyn," directed by Rachael Abigail Holder that premieres Friday, but will go into wide release Sept. 5, including in Birmingham.
