CLEMMONS – Grimsley quarterback Faizon Brandon was a spectator for Friday night's game against West Forsyth.

When Brandon entered the field, he was wearing his No. 11 jersey but wasn't wearing any pads and had on sweatpants.

So far, there's been no word on why he's not playing in the second game of the season. He's headed to Tennessee at the end of the season.
