WESLACO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Weslaco is advising residents to remain indoors following several reports of dangerous bee attacks in the area.
Residents around the 1300 block of E. 2nd Street and Clifton Street are advised to stay indoors as the city responds to the bee attacks.
"These bees can pose a potential threat," the City of Weslaco stated. "Please keep windows and doors closed and avoid going outside until further notice."

Bees can be aggressive when defending their colony. If stung and experiencing a reaction, seek medical help or call 911.
