RUSK COUNTY, Texas — A man accused of shooting at another man's truck in Rusk County Friday after an argument and leading police on chase was arrested.
According to the Rusk County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to Bunny's convenient store at the corner of Highway 64 and Highway 42 about a man shooting at another man's vehicle after a verbal fight inside the store.
The suspect allegedly waited for the victim to leave and while at the stop sign, the suspect fired several gunshots into the victim's truck, the sheriff's office said.
The alleged shooter fled the area, but using technology, deputies and Texas Department of Public Safety troopers were able to identify the man and track him down. He was seen driving south through Nacogdoches County.
