WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — The City of Waterbury Engineering Department announced the expected road milling and paving schedule for early September.

Travelers should seek alternate routes during these periods and street parking will be prohibited during working hours of 7 a.m.-6 p.m. The schedule is subject to change depending on the weather.

Milling will take place on Colonial and Hereford Avenues on Tuesday, with Lakewood Road being milled on Thursday.

The paving schedule will be: • Irving Avenue — Tuesday • Tompkins Street — Tuesday-Wednesday • Dwight Street — Wednesday-Thursday • Macarthur Drive — Thursday • Colonial, Hereford, Ford and Cornwall Avenues — Friday and Sept. 8 • Lakewood Road — Sept. 9-10 • Driveways — Sept. 11-12
