OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Metro homebuilder Tom Young was found beaten to death while on the job in 2005. His family, along with the Oklahoma City Police Department, is still trying to figure out who did it and why.

Investigators arrived at a home near 150th and Western on August 18th, 2005. It's a day the Young family will never forget.

"Secrets like this don't die, and we're just asking for people's help," Ryan Young, Tom's grandson, said.

Craig Young, Tom's son, recounts the moment he received the gut-wrenching phone call.

"I had been home for about an hour, and my mom called and she said, Craig, there are a couple of police over my house, and you need to come over here. She said, your dad was killed, and I said, what? She said he'd been murdered on the job."
