Virginia Democrats call out Earle

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Democrats are calling out the Republican candidate for governor, Winsome Earle-Sears, over comments they say promote discrimination against the queer community.

In a 2004 candidate survey, Earle-Sears expressed opposition to workplace protections for queer people, even responding “yes” to the question, “Will you refuse to hire homosexual activists?”
