CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- With the Labor Day weekend underway, Virginia State Police are urging drivers to stay safe on the roads.
"Last year over the Labor Day holiday, we cited there were 105 child-restraint violations. Really, there’s no excuse for that. Have your child in the correct seat, have them buckled up. No excuse for that. We had over 400 seatbelt violations," said VSP spokesman Matthew Demlein.
