(WKBN) -- Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has appointed some local community leaders within the state government.

According to a release, Jon Rettig Sr. of Columbiana was reappointed to the Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors through June 30, 2030.

Juan Santiago of Youngstown was appointed to the Ohio FAIR Plan Underwriting Association Board of Governors through Sept. 18, 2026.

Michael Cafaro of Youngstown was appointed to the Radiation Advisory Council through Sept. 6, 2029.
