CINCINNATI —

Cincinnati's Riverfest celebration is back along the Ohio River on Sunday as fireworks light up the sky.

Riverfest is set to kick off with live music, vendors, food and of course, the famous fireworks and drone show. The event starts at 3 p.m. and the fireworks will kick off at 9 p.m. Advertisement

Ahead of the anticipated event, Cincinnati police chief Terri Theetge said people should make their plans now.

Theetge says making plans early will help with trying to find parking and a prime viewing spot for the fireworks show.

The biggest change this year is that spectators won’t be able to set up chairs and blankets until 3 p.m. on Sunday, when the event officially begins. Organizers say anything set up before 3 p.m. will be moved and taken away.
