MINNEAPOLIS — The Annunciation and Minneapolis community continue to come together in mourning in the wake of the unthinkable tragedy at Annunciation Catholic Church on Wednesday that claimed the lives of two young children and left 18 others injured.

Grief weighed heavy outside the church as a prayer vigil drew a couple hundred people, who added to a steadily growing wall of flowers outside the church.

For many, the pain is raw and the questions linger. Yet as tears continue to fall, a spirit of unity has emerged. Therapy dogs and trained spiritual support teams were present, offering comfort in the midst of heartbreak.
