PINEVILLE, La. (KALB) - According to Pineville Police Department, a suspect was convicted on Friday, August 29, 2025 for the murder of Tucker Gibson, of Pineville on May 1, 2023 .

PPD said Rayford Brice III, 20, of Pineville faces life in prison after he was convicted of 2nd-degree murder.

According to the Rapides Parish Clerk of Court, Brice III is set to be sentenced on October 2.

Pineville Police Department said two officers testified in the trial on August 28 & 29.

PPD expressed their gratitude to Rapides Parish District Attorney’s Office and the Criminal Investigations Bureau for their work on this case.
