The sports world was stunned when the Dallas Cowboys traded Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night — and now a former Penn State great is weighing in.
“Linebacker U” legend LaVar Arrington, like many others, struggled to understand why Jerry Jones and the Cowboys would trade Parsons, a fellow Penn State great.
Arrington, on his FOX Sports Radio show , “2 Pros and a Cup of Joe,” called Dallas dealing Parsons for two first-round picks and a defensive veteran “an egregious move.”
“This is probably the most egregious move that I’ve witnessed in watching professional sports,” Arrington said Friday morning. “It might be the most egregious move to let a generational talent that’s on his rookie contract to go from your team. That’s pretty wild.”
