LINCOLN, Neb. (UNL) - The No. 1 Nebraska volleyball team swept Lipscomb 25-13, 25-21, 25-15 in front of a Lipscomb school-record crowd of 4,235 at Allen Arena.

The Huskers improved to 3-0, while the Bisons dropped their season opener.

Taylor Landfair and Harper Murray led a balanced Husker attack with seven kills each. Landfair did it on nine swings (.778). Skyler Pierce recorded six kills in her first collegiate action. Andi Jackson had five kills and two blocks, and Manaia Ogbechie posted five kills on nine swings. Rebekah Allick recorded four kills, while Allie Sczech had three.

Bergen Reilly started the match and had 11 assists and an ace. Campbell Flynn played the final two sets and recorded 22 assists. Olivia Mauch had a match-high 14 digs, and Laney Choboy added 12.
