DANVILLE — If last week's start to the 2025 season was exactly how Mifflinburg scripted — a five-touchdown lead at the break — Friday was probably the worst start to a game the Wildcats could imagine.
"I think you're the third person I told (after the game) that was obviously the worst way you want to start," Mifflinburg coach Cody Botts said of his team that turned the ball over deep in its territory twice to fall behind by two scores in the first quarter. "You couldn't imagine a worse start. That certainly wasn't the plan."
