HELENA — Reece Silvonen has thrown plenty of touchdown passes to his twin brother, Gracen, over the years.
Yet, the 24-yard touchdown strike from the Helena High quarterback to Gracen Silvonen in the third quarter of a 28-20 win over Billings Skyview was the first time it happened under the Friday Night lights, in a varsity football game at Vigilante Stadium.
"We have always grown up throwing to each other," Reece said. "We were always just throwing in the backyard, in our living room, we always knew — it was just a great night."
For Reece, it was his first career start as the Bengals quarterback. There was a second-quarter interception, but outside of that, the 6-foot, 165-pound junior passed his first test with flying colors thanks to a 14-of-29 effort that included 154 passing yards
