Labor Day weekend may be the last hurrah for summer travel for many. But it may also affect the pocketbook as gas pump prices are expected to increase for the holiday.
“Labor Day marks the end of summer travel and offers one last opportunity for a holiday getaway before the fall season begins,” said AAA Texas Corporate Communications Manager Doug Shupe in an email.
Those planning to hit the road should take heed that Texas gas prices are on the rise ahead of the Labor Day holiday weekend, according to the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch.
