Saturday Morning Update: Welcome to the weekend and the unofficial end of summer! Today starts off cool and cloudy with light showers pushing through the area. A nice morning to spend some extra time on the couch checking out Labor Day weekend sales online, or getting ready for a Saturday full of watching college football! Thanks for the cloud cover and rain, temperatures will struggle to make it above the upper 70s.

Scattered showers will continue to move through for the next several hours, especially south of I-20, with gradual clearing in the afternoon/early evening hours. Any football watching early in the day will have to take place indoors, but by the time the Tigers kick off at 7:30pm, the rain will be moving out and outdoor grilling shouldn't be a problem!
