President Donald Trump thinks the Republican National Committee should host a midterms convention to bolster the party’s chances of holding onto control of the House of Representatives and the Senate past 2026.

The president, who’s enjoyed strong support from Congress since returning to power in January, made his pitch on his Truth Social social media platform Wednesday.

“The Republican Party is doing really well. Millions of people have joined us in our quest to MAKE AMERICA, GREAT AGAIN,” Trump’s message began.

The President boasted about his party’s resounding victories in the 2024 election cycle and claimed the results are paying off for voters at a “record” pace.
