Cade Klubnik is ready to take the center stage during the 2025 college football season .

The Clemson football quarterback enters the season as one of the favorites to win the Heisman Trophy, with the Tigers opening the season ranked No. 6 in the US LBM Coaches Poll . They open the season against No. 9 LSU in at home on Saturday, Aug. 30.

After backing up DJ Uiagalelei in his freshman season in 2022, Klubnik became the full-time starter in 2023. He enjoyed a breakout season in 2024, completing 308 of 486 passes (63.4%) for 3,639 yards and 36 touchdowns to six interceptions. He added 119 rushes for 463 yards and seven touchdowns.
