A tourist has died at Disneyland in Hong Kong after passing out on its famous Frozen ride.

The Filipino man, 53, died after losing consciousness while on the Frozen Ever After ride on Friday.

His wife, who was with him, saw he had passed out and immediately raised the alarm.

First aiders boarded the slow-moving boat ride when it reached the starting point and performed CPR. The 53-year-old was rushed to North Lantau Hospital but was pronounced dead soon at 11:30am local time.

The incident was reported to the police, with the man’s wife telling them her husband had a pre-existing health condition.

The tourist had a history of heart disease and high blood pressure.
