Police are appealing to public for witnesses and information related to a collision that left one person dead and three seriously injured in Etobicoke.
Ontario Provincial Police say officers responded to the scene of a collision involving multiple vehicles on eastbound Hwy. 401 near Dixon Rd. at 1:15 a.m. Saturday.
OPP says a Ministry of Transportation truck was parked behind a disabled passenger vehicle when another passenger vehicle collided into them.
It says a person who was ejected from the second passenger vehicle was taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
Investigators say three others including one from the disabled passenger vehicle, one from the truck, and one from the second passenger vehicle were also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
