Investigators say a fentanyl bust inside the Oklahoma County Jail uncovered one of the largest drug seizures in the facility’s history.

Officers said they received an anonymous tip Thursday that an inmate was hiding drugs. A search led to the discovery of 39 grams of fentanyl concealed inside a cell.

Authorities said that the amount equals 19,500 potentially fatal doses. Jail officials said narcotics are occasionally found inside the facility, but this appears to be the largest quantity seized.
