Labor Day is Monday, and unlike some federal holidays, the majority of stores will be open.
So if you need to do some last-minute grocery shopping - or perhaps you're on the hunt for a bargain and have some time to search for deals - you're in luck.
However, across the board not everywhere will be open; some retailers may still be closed. And some services, like mail delivery, won't take place as usual.
Here's what is open and closed on Labor Day this year:
Will banks be open?
Major national banks, such as Bank of America, Chase and Key Bank, won't be open for branch services.
Will post offices be open, and will mail be delivered?
Labor Day is listed as a holiday on the U.S. Postal Service calendar. Regular mail and packages won't be delivered. Post offices will be closed as well.
