Police identified a man who died more than a week after being injured in a crash in Georgetown, Delaware.

On Aug. 19, 2025, around 7 p.m., 29-year-old Marco Lobos-Simaj, of Georgetown, Delaware, was driving a Honda Pilot eastbound on Hardscrabble Road east of Tyndall Road.

Lobos-Simaj somehow lost control of the vehicle which left the roadway, traveled along a ditch and crashed into a tree, causing it to overturn several times before hitting a second tree, Delaware State Police said.

Lobos-Simaj was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries more than a week later on Aug. 27.
