Gordon Ramsay revealed his recent skin cancer diagnosis on social media.

On Aug. 30, the “Hell’s Kitchen” host announced that he had been diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma and had the spot removed.

Ramsay, 58, shared a photo of the aftermath of his surgery on Instagram . He posted two photos to his feed, including a snap that captured the side of his face with a bandage below his ear, followed by a second photo of the stitches below his earlobe.

Ramsay shared brief details about his diagnosis in the caption of his post, writing in part, “Grateful and so appreciative for the incredible team at The Skin Associates and their fast reactive work on removing this Basal Cell Carcinoma thank you !”
