It was a slippery situation.

A New York woman says she was stopped by airport officials because her powdered lubricant was mistaken for a dangerous or illegal substance.

Lana Madison, 29, was allegedly interrogated alongside her boyfriend at an airport in Mexico City, saying security was perplexed by the “white powder”.

“Several of them huddled around, taking pictures and trying to figure out what it was and why we had it,” Madison declared in an interview with Jam Press. “They were completely confused.” 3

“They took us aside for 30 minutes,” the model further recalled. “I thought they were overreacting and needed to calm down.”

While Madison doesn’t speak Spanish, her boyfriend was able to translate some things — and was forced to act out what the substance was used for.
