STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- DJ Funkmaster Flex recently announced that he is leaving radio station Hot 97 after 33 years.
Funkmaster Flex, whose legal name is Aston George Taylor Jr., noted that his last show will be Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1, according to a post on X.com .
“ALL THINGS COME TO AN END! END OF AN ERA THAT I ENJOYED VERY MUCH! I SUPER ENJOYED IT ALL! I WILL MAKE THE LAST SHOW A GREAT ONE! APPRECIATE EVERYONE WHO HAS SUPPORTED ME OVER THE YEARS!” Funk Flex posted.
