LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Maumelle Police Department has made an arrest linked to a shooting that took place at an apartment complex on Saturday.

A post from the department's Facebook page said that officers were sent to the 200 block of Pine Forest Drive after receiving a report about a gunshot victim at a medical facility.

The victim had non-life-threatening injuries and is being treated at an area hospital, according to police.

Authorities said there is no threat to the safety of the public.
