ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The hallmark of Georgia teams under head coach Kirby Smart has been stellar defenses. His teams consistently have one of the best defenses in the country. 2025 is shaping up to be no exception.
Linebacker CJ Allen is one of the leaders on a new look defense that lost stars safety Malaki Starks, linebacker Jalon Walker and defensive end Mykel Williams.
“As a team, we not focused on one person, this guy, we lost this guy. As a whole, we just coming together,” Allen said.
Allen said the defense has bonded over the offseason.
“I think it’s been a great offseason,” he said. “We bonded outside the facility.”
