LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Kinston Police Department Detectives with assistance from the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (SRT) arrested two men Friday following the Daryl Dudley’s murder investigation .

Kinston police detectives and the Lenoir County Special Response Team executed a search warrant at 309 McDaniels Street on Friday.

During the investigation, they discovered three firearms: two handguns, one of which was equipped with an illegal “switch” device that converted it into a fully automatic weapon, along with an AR-style pistol.

Kinston Police say 20-year-old Yahmeek Coward and 24-year-old Shakoy Williams were found in the room where the firearms were recovered.

Both Coward and Williams were arrested and charged with the following:
