A steady stream of pillows and stuffed animals, microwaves and mirrors and excited students and anxious parents flowed into Wilfrid Laurier University’s Bricker Residence on Saturday.
It was part of a mass migration taking place throughout Waterloo Region and across the province, as post-secondary students return for the fall semester.
On Bricker Avenue in Waterloo, the staff and students on hand to greet the new arrivals had everything down to a science: line up the incoming vehicles, hand out parking passes, direct students to their keys and baggage carts and repeat.
