DULUTH — Facing the reigning state champions and current top-ranked team, the unbeaten Wayzata Trojans, Saturday’s match at Ordean Stadium figured to be a barometer for the seventh-ranked Greyhounds.
After coming away with a hard-fought 1-1 draw, the Greyhounds can safely say they know where they stand among the state’s elite teams.
“It’s one of those things where we think we’re good, and this is confirmation that we’re in the conversation as one of the best teams in the state,” said head coach Steve Polkowski.
