LA JUNTA, Colo. (KKTV) - A search from local and state officials led to several arrests and the seizure of drugs and guns in La Junta, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

CBI said they were working with the La Junta Police Department to execute a search warrant on San Juan Avenue in La Junta on Friday. They said the location had been the source of several complaints, with many reportedly being worried about drug distribution and other criminal activity, according to CBI.

As they executed the search warrant, CBI said a man, identified as Ezekiel Aguilar, tried to run away, but was caught in the backyard.

CBI said other people in the house barricaded themselves inside, but were later forced to exit by law enforcement.
