CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Community members gathered in front of the federal building and U.S. Courthouse this afternoon to protest U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity in immigrant communities.

The event was part of the Central Region ICE Protest, organized by Virginia Organizing, with similar demonstrations also taking place in Richmond and Waynesboro.
