One call that was overturned against LSU on Saturday against Clemson was so controversial, even the ESPN broadcast crew disagreed with it.

In the third quarter, No. 9 LSU built momentum after trailing No. 4 Clemson with a touchdown, interception followed by what appeared to be another touchdown reception, the latter from wide receiver Barion Brown. Brown brought down a one-handed grab along the sideline before sliding on the field past the pylon.

Brown was originally ruled down at the half-yard line before officials called for a replay. After the replay, the referees ruled Brown lost possession of the ball when he hit the field after grabbing the ball. Since he didn't have possession all the way to the ground, the catch was ruled incomplete and the LSU drive ended in a missed field
