The Dodgers shot themselves in the foot when presented with opportunities to score, and it came back to bite as the Diamondbacks shut out the Dodgers for a second straight game by a 6-1 final score.

Tyler Glasnow was looking to pick up his first win since March 31, and he did his part over the first three innings, facing the minimum while keeping Arizona off the bases. The Dodgers got their first baserunner with Will Smith working a two-out walk against Eduardo Rodríguez in the bottom of the first, but Freddie Freeman ended the inning with a line out two pitches later.
