AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Amarillo Sod Poodles fell to the Northwest Arkansas Naturals in game five, 9-2, on Saturday night.

Amarillo’s two runs came from a home run from Gavin Logan and an RBI single from LuJames Groover to score Manuel Pena.

Avery Short picks up the loss on the mound for the Sod Poodles. In 6 innings pitched, he allowed four runs off four hits. He was relieved by Yordin Chalas, who got called up from the Hillsboro Hops on Friday. He would only pitch 0.2 innings after allowing five runs and three hits.

The Sod Poodles and Naturals will play the series finale at HODGETOWN Sunday at 1:05 p.m. CST.
