GLASSBORO — Junior receiver-safety Xavier Sabb hasn’t had a lot of success in a football sense when going up against his older brother Keon, but he has been able to pretty much have his own was with just about anybody else.
Sabb helped open Glassboro’s season in style.
The 6-foot-1, 187-pound Sabb caught four passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns, while also recording two interceptions as the Bulldogs beat Haddonfield, 36-13 in the Battle at the Beach across the street from home at Rowan University. For added emphasis Sabb also caught a two-point conversion pass from Jack O’Connell, who did an excellent job running the offense.
It was the opening game for both teams.
