Multiple changes for Spain challenge won’t hinder Ireland’s march to Rugby World Cup quarter-finals

If the Ireland team bus pulls out of Whittlebury Park tomorrow bound for Brighton with the squad’s quarter-final place in the Women’s Rugby World Cup secured, another bonus point recorded and no new injuries, then their time in Northampton will have been everything they hoped it would be.

World rankings suggest this second pool game should be relatively straightforward for Ireland (fifth) against a Spain team ranked eight places below them in 13th.
