The dilemma

I’ve made a mistake. I told a white lie about my salary to avoid contributing more towards our group holiday to Italy .

The issue arose when my friends said we’d each contribute £400 for flights, the Airbnb, and excursions. That felt like more than I could comfortably afford without cutting back sharply elsewhere.
