The Colorado West Land Trust, with the recent conservation of the 5,879-acre Eagle Bluff Ranch in western San Miguel County’s Disappointment Valley, has now conserved more than 150,000 acres of western Colorado.
The Land Trust, which began its conservation work more than 40 years ago, has worked to protect the agricultural lands, wildlife habitats and irreplaceable vistas of Western Colorado, according to a press release.
