With five returners on both sides of the ball and a coach entering his second year with the program, there's a solid amount of carryover for Gates Chili in 2025.

After missing out on sectional play in 2023 -- the Spartans were on the wrong end of a coin flip, the tiebreaker for the final playoff spot -- Gates Chili dropped to one win in 2024, in Andre Fontenette's first season on the sideline.
