A dad from Virginia had a wake-up call after looking at vacation photos, realizing it was time to make a change.

During that vacation in 2022, Robert, 37, was at nearly 300 pounds and unable to join in the activities to create memories with his wife Nancy, 42, and 6-year-old son, Princeton.

"Seeing my wife and son take pictures without me included in them broke my heart," Robert told Newsweek . " I decided I never want to miss out on making memories with my family ever again."
