The summer transfer window is set to close earlier than usual this year. Premier League and EFL clubs have until 7pm BST on Monday, September 1, to sign new players. ‌

As is usually the case, clubs will be granted a two-hour grace period after the window closes to finalise deals, but only if the paperwork is submitted to the Football Association (FA) by 7pm. The transfer windows in La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Serie A are all set to close at the same time. ‌
