The Town of Stevensville has filed a lawsuit against its former airport manager, raising additional questions about ownership of an airport fuel tank.

After months of deliberation and a couple of contentious town council discussions , the Town of Stevensville filed a lawsuit against former Stevensville airport manager Will Rowe and his company 2 Ravens over the lease of the Stevensville Airport fuel tank on July 23.

The complaint claims that Rowe’s lease on the ground under the fuel tank, which according to the lawsuit was approved by Town Mayor Steve Gibson in 2023, is illegitimate because it was never approved by the Stevensville Town Council and/or Stevensville’s Airport Board.
