Inside the mosh pit, the kids with box-dyed hair and chain belts flailed their elbows. Outside the mosh pit, men in Allbirds nodded their heads. A few still had their company badges hooked to their khakis. Whether they came from a skate park or a high rise, they were in downtown Washington, a few hundred strong, to see a punk show at a library.
