EAST PEORIA, Ill. – East Peoria fire officials report a driver is injured after a vehicle crashed into a garage.

Firefighters responded to the 3400 block of Meadow Avenue at 2:07 Sunday morning and found the vehicle that had crashed through and came to rest inside a detached garage.

The driver was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The driver’s condition is not known.

An investigation continues.
